Correspondent's call: pollution in India

The Delhi government today rolled out a 12-day scheme to curb rising air pollution in India’s capital. The plan will limit motorists to alternate days but public transport in exempt. Road-rationing kicked in as city authorities sounded a public health emergency and warned the conditions will last through the week or may even worsen. A report by RFI's New Delhi corresppondent Pratap Chakravarty.
