Cooperatives enjoying a revival in Zambia

The United Nations has declared 2012 as the International Year of Cooperatives, acknowledging organisations that are owned and controlled by its members. The theme, "Cooperative Enterprises Build a Better World", aims to promote the benefits of cooperatives in reducing poverty, creating jobs and integrating societies. Cooperatives are enjoying a revival in Zambia, as RFI found out in the capital, Lusaka.
