Greece's Golden Dawn growing in popularity

Issued on:

Greece's neo-Nazi group, Golden Dawn, has seen a boost in its popularity ... In recent weeks the group has organised Greeks-only food handouts and blood donations, and has twice ousted migrant peddlers from street markets to the delight of local operators and the outrage of authorities. Golden Dawn members dress in black T-shirts stamped with the meander, an ancient Greek motif. And they are suspected of orchestrating a rising trend of racist violence against foreigners. RFI spoke to George Tzogopoulos, a political analysts about the Golden Dawn phenomenon.
