Junior doctors across England are taking industrial action following the government’s decision to put forward a new contract on junior doctors. The British Government said the new contract would create a seven-day service but medics responded saying the changes would create dangerous shift patterns, putting patients' safety and lives at risk.
Over half of all doctors of the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) are represented by junior doctors. Their union, the British Medical Association (BMA), has already held three one-day strikes. Action the union says, continues to send a clear message to the British government.
