Hollande's popularity takes a slight dip in December
French President Francois Hollande’s popularity in December has dipped by five points compared to that in November, according to a poll published on Tuesday by Odoxa Express, Regional Press and France Inter.

Hollande’s popularity rating stands at 27 per cent while French Prime Minister Manuel Valls is at 40 per cent down by three points compared to his November rating.
Regarding the ranking of other prominent political personalities, former President Nicolas Sarkozy stands at 21 per cent which is down by six points compared to last month while National Front leader Marine Le Pen is ahead of Sarkozy by three points at 24 per cent.
Former foreign minister and Bordeaux Mayor Alain Juppé has a rating of 44 per cent while current economy minister Emmanuel Macron stands at 33 per cent.
The online survey was conducted on December 17 and 18 with a sample of 1003 people aged 18 and above.
