An appeal was launched yesterday by the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to raise 28 million euros for Syrian refugees in neighbouring countries. The humanitarian situation in Syria is worsening, forcing hundreds of people to flee to Turkey, Jordan and Iraq on a daily basis. RFI spoke to Kristalina Georgieva, the EU Commissioner for International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Response about the crisis in Syria.
